UTC coordinates a one-day orientation program designed to acquaint first-time TAs at the University of Arizona with ABOR teaching requirements. GATO focuses on learner-centered teaching methodology and culturally responsive teaching strategies. The program is offered at the beginning of each semester.

Additional Information for TAs

TA Training On-Line (TATO)
As a TA you will also be required to access and complete TA Taining On-Line (TATO) administered through the Graduate College. If you do not have a University of Arizona NetID, then you will need to contact NETID at CCIT. Your UA NetID is the official computer account for university students and employees. This is the same username and password you use to sign in to your University email account. You must have a UA NetID to use various campus services on the web.
